K ukljica is often referred to as “the gate to the National park Telaščica and National park Kornati” due to proximity to the Ždrelac Passage and near the cove Ždrelaščica (44°N, 15°15' E). It has moderly euiped and naturaly protected harbour with about 100 berths.

T here are several well known and well equiped marinas and many beautifiul islands in the circle of only 20 km. The closest marinas are in Zadar, Biograd and on the island of Iž and they are less than one hour away by boat.

F rom nautical aspect Kukljica and the cove Ždrelaščica have one of the best positions in Croatia. Besides being located in the centre of the most indented area in the entire Adriatic, most of the traffic currents running from the land towards the Kornati islands and Dugi otok pass through here as well.

K ukljica harbour is naturally protected and situated in the centre of the village, with easy access to any place of your interest. District of Kukljica continuously works on improving offerings and modernization of their capacities to satisfy all needs and wishes of our clients.
